We are a club made for most ages and all fitness levels. We have a family-friendly atmosphere and welcome both novice and experienced rowers.
The club is based in Townsville, Queensland, located at the Loam Island Community Centre on the Corner of Riverway & Santal Drive. Please see our About Us page for more details on the club, as well a helpful map!

NQ Club Championships Will start Saturday 10th September with first races at 11am concluding on Sunday 11th September at 12pm Riverway Rowing Club will host Mackay, TJCU, Innisfail, Tablelends and Cairns rowing clubs to contest the NQ Club Championships. Click HERE for entries.

2011 Riverway Challenge
The 2011 Riverway Challenge will be an opportunity for anyone wanting to give rowing a go. The program will consist of three weeks of training by a club coach, Saturday and Sundays for two hours and one weekday. You will have an understanding of the basic technique and be able to row and compete in the mini regatta to be held on Sunday the 2nd of October followed with a BBQ lunch.
